The POM, Polyoxymethylene. Is a crystalline plastic of high rigidity, used in precision parts that require high stiffness?
The 3D printers POM are manufactured in the form of homopolymer and copolymer. Both are hard, rigid polymers with excellent abrasion resistance.
Uses to have a dull and rigid appearance, its natural color is white or natural, Its resistance to acids, UV rays and alkalis is weak.
Usually the applications of this filament are for engineering components for mechanisms, gears, and safety elements.
Requires a warm bed and tends to warping. It’s recommended for small parts with high resistance.
The use of lacquers for 3D printing is recommended.
Use only in well ventilated areas.
Only suitable for advanced users
