PLA, Polylactic Acid, is a biodegradable thermoplastic polymer obtained from corn starch, potato, yucca or sugar cane. It is by far the most used material in 3D FDM printing. This material has evolved considerably from its beginnings, to the material we have today, an easy-to-use filament capable of covering most of our needs. No need to use hot bed. It requires the use of lacquer on the printing surface. (Optional) Body tape or Kapton tape on the printing surface improves adhesion.
