Acrylonitrile butadiene styrene or ABS is a highly impact resistant plastic and one of the materials most used in the industry.
It is a tenacious, hard and rigid material, with an acceptable chemical resistance and good dimensional stability.
Accepts mechanized and is receptive to baths of metals being able to chromes by electrolysis.
It is soluble in acetone, which is used to improve the surface finish of the layers. It can also be used to glue different parts printed in ABS to each other.
It is indicated when high strength parts are needed.
It requires a warm bed.
We recommend the use of lacquers for 3D printing.
