One of the characteristics of the PLA is that it can be used as a bonding polymer to which wood fibbers are added, resulting in this material which will provide a similar finish to wood.
PLA, Polylactic Acid, is a biodegradable thermoplastic polymer obtained from corn starch, potato, yucca or sugar cane. It is by far the most used material in 3D FDM printing. This material has evolved considerably from its beginnings, to the material we have today, an easy-to-use filament capable of covering most of our needs.
No need to use hot bed.
It requires the use of lacquer on the printing surface.
